Salon du cadeau

The 8^th edition of Salon du Cadeau took place this week at Karibe Hotel.  The annual event is the initiative of the Foundation Lucienne Deschamps and is a largely anticipated Christmas shopping event. 

This year it is said that almost 100 vendors took part.  The event was open and  attended by people of all ages. 

Spectators could shop a wide array of gifts such as; home goods, latest lines from local designer, art and much more.  There were also many activities for the children with Santa on site and available for pictures.  

Live music by new group Akoustik



Fashion shows by Le Paradise and Collections Veve.  

Admission was 500 gourdes for adults and 250 gourdes for children which would go to the construction of the Complex Éducatifde Thomonde benefitting and providing education to the children in Haiti’s Central Plateau.
