BLOODY MARY...BY ANY OTHER NAME, WOULD BE SO SWEET

I was recently introduced to the Bloody Mary's at Quartier Latin in Petion Ville.  For Sunday Brunch, there is none better!  I don't say that I am a Bloody Mary  connoisseur, but at the base it's Vodka, so how could that be wrong? I've always admired women that drank Blood Mary's (almost as much as those who take Valiums for sport, lol).

 I think what stands out with Quartier Latin's drink is too often Bloody Marys are well, too bloody.  Calm down, by that I mean is too tomato-y.  Quartier Latin does them just right.  A fair amount of tomato  and just the right amount of Vodka.  After All, Bloody Mary's are meant to be a hangover cure not a hangover inducer.  So on a Sunday morning the last thing you need is too much too much.

So during the days after I thought about Quartier Latin and their awesome Bloody Marys and then I stumbled along this recipe.  Simple and delicious...I guess you could say simply delicious. :   )

Since discovering this recipe, I've made a few ;  ) I'm not saying that I'm an expert, but I was at Quartier Latin this weekend, and it suddenly their's didn't have the same pizazz.  

Just kidding, but this is a very close second!
