The celebration of Contemporary Art in Haiti "RASIN"

Kolektif 509 held their 2nd edition Contemporary Art exhibit "RASIN", promoting creative talent in Haiti.  The event was curated by none other than, one of the leading artist of Haitian contemporary art, Mario Benjamin.















This year the exhibit featured the works of 8 new artists:

Patsye Delatour, Painting/Mixed-Media
Yves Delva "Delva 0+", Painting
Mafalda Nicolas Mondestin, Painting
Johnson Sabin, Photography 
Barbara Prezeau Stephenson, Video Performance/Painting-Mixed 
 
Opening night was on June 27th, at VILLA KALEWES in Petion-Ville and the event ran till July 6th, culminating with a brunch event with food by Aztec restaurant.
